Depends on what’s needed to be done - probably can do some “laser spot welding” on the retina, but I don’t know for sure.
As for the damage to that eye, it’s already done - you’ll probably adjust with the good eye.

Its a macular hole, thats about all I know right now.
Tomarrow at 11 I got an opointment for the specialist, and any surgery that needs to be done will be done the same day.
Oh and whats better No insurance FTL.
Just the visit is 172$ No clue what the surgery is going to cost.

Your not kidding, that’s going to suck, fortunatly I can afford to pay for it in cash that day regardless of cost, so maybe they will give me some form of a break.

It’l be aiight. When I was 6 I threw a horse shoe at a beer bottle and a shard of glass went through my right eye. Slashed the cornia and took a chunk out of thr iris. They took my eye out, stiched her back together and poped’er back in. I just went to the eye dr yesterday (I have to like 4 times a year to check for scar tissue) and its still all good. I have 20/20 vission. I do have to get reading glasses though becuase of the strain my left eye goes under to compensate for the right. And I have a lack of depth perception, which I have learned to compensate for over the years. Other than that though and a being UBER sensative to light I’d say I came out lucky as fuck.
omfg no insurance? If you have enough bank to pay for the surgery in cash, why not put yourself on insurance RIGHT NOW?

I need to put myself on insurance it was 600$ for todays visit, and another 300 for the follow up in a month.
I payed cash for todays visit but it sucks, because rent 750 is due today alos.
So I have no have fun cash for the weekend now.
It went well, basically they said because im younger they dont know what caused it, it was nothing I did.
I ended up with a bunch of test and an injection in my eye.
so yeah needles in your eye arent fun.
Im currently writing this with an eye patch and wrap around dark sunglasses.
So I feel like a pirate vampire.

The dye they give you, is some yellow dye.
Anyways they said it was going to turn my piss yellow.
Well i took a piss and it looked like a highlighter exploded.
Yeah looks cool now…think of how much it sucks to get something in your eye that really irritates it when you blink…then multiply that feeling by a million and add a shit load of pain and you’ve just poked your eye out lol.
got another shot today, I’ve come along way on recovery, they said potentially after this injection it could be pretty close to being back to normal.
Apparently after one treatment I had the most recovery they’ve ever witnessed.
Another check up in 6 weeks t see if I’ll need a 3rd injection.
I was stable for a long time, well it appears to be back.
They give you this fucking grid to stare at, and say if theres any changes come in.
So I came in last tuesday, they fucking dyed me, did all this shit wasted 4 hrs of my time (not my normal doctor) and said that it was nothing.
Meanwhile i was seeing fucking blue tint with the bad eye. luckily he didnt charge me
Fastforward to googling symptoms, having the dizzyness and thinking im dieing ect, I go and get a cat scan done, at emergency, which should cost like a million dollars, and that comes back normal.
Soooo Tomarrow morning I go see my normal doctor, now that im half blind in that eye again and cant even fucking see my girlfriends face.
My prediction, another 700$ shot 
Fuck this, the good news is, this is going to reoccure for the rest of my life.
Fun times when the doctors tell you its likely to come back.
Over a year later and you still can’t spell TOMORROW properly.
But seriously, that does suck. I was pissed when I started needing glasses after not needing them my entire life. I can’t imagine losing sight completely and causing dizzyness.

No insurance company is going to allow you to enroll for pre-existing conditions like this.
I would try to get the surgery done, then go bankrupt. Vision is way more important than just about anything else.
