So how do we officially enter? I honestly don’t give a crap about my car being judged but want to “officially” participate. What do I need to do?
It’s easy. Just show up and pay. (half the proceeds go to charity, btw).
Also, there is no formal “judging” per se. It’s done via particant ballot. We used to have a judging panel, but it was very demanding on volunteers and it was hard to avoid controversy. We’ve been using the voting system for a few years now and it’s been working much better and generally keeps people happy.
So is it 10 or 11 that one should be there?

I’m not directly involved with the organizing committee this year but I would say 11am is the safer bet. 10am is probably when volunteers need to be there for setup.
Dennis can confirm what he’s heard from Gord (our committee head for the show).
I spoke with Gord today, everything is set. I need a count of cars that will be attending this show, by Thursday the latest.
Also we will need to be at Mills Nissan by 10:30am to set up. Show is from 11-4pm. The show will go on rain or shine!!! Cost to enter is $20. With half the proceeds going to the Rainbow Society. Mills Haven is supplying free Burgers. There will be raffles for a bunch of prizes supplied by some sponsors plus trophies for winning cars.
The ZCar Club will have over 25 cars in attendance. Let’s have a good showing ourselves. It doesn’t matter what “show” quality your car is, come out for a good time and show some support to our Club and the ZCar Club.

I am in the home stretch of getting this car back on the road. It may come down to the wire. (Found small holes in the thermostat housing, for example…arggg.) So, I can’t confirm if I will be there or not by the Thursday deadline. If I miss that deadline and I get the car on the road I will come by anyway.

you know what. Im going to enter to help support. My car wont be the cleanest (last minute for me and probably no wax) but I will try to do a quick clean job. lol.
If we enter, do we “have” to stay there for the entire show?
Very unlikely. No one polices the car shows to make you stay. I bet you can come and go as you wish. Usually people hang around for the social aspect and to keep people from scratching their car.
It was a good show. I have some nice sun burns too. Hopefully next year some more NECC members come out. I won best Non Z FWD. Yeah for me. too bad It was by default as I was the only FWD that entered. lol.
