Id go the second one.
thats what I want…but the problem is I dont know if they will fit being lowered. I know if I put my rear back up to the stock ride height, I wont have a problem, but I dont want to do that.
although I just noticed that the 29’s are 1" narrower then the 27’s.
Wish I had 2 to pick from… maybe getting 17" rims isnt that good of an idea wtf
If they dont fit just return them or sell locally. Or raise the rear a little till they fit lol.
15’s are where its at.
the rear is currently as high as it can go without completely going back to the stock ride height.
which would only be 3/4-1" more.
I dont think they will clear the brakes, I thought I read somewhere 17’s is the smallest the g8 can take… I could be wrong though.
drew sometimes Taller > wider, especially when some companies 295 is wider than others 305.
in some cases the effective gear ratio can improve traction greater than increasing the overall width
thissssssssssssssssssssssss drew
i was talking with a friend and told him your setup and what gearing you had and how you want to go back to stock 3.42s and said you dont know what your doing. being a 4spd he said all you have todo is get the proper tire under your car height wise and it will change the gear ratio of the car. if it were an auto thats a dif sitution
I know this. Why do you think I want to go to a 28?
and what do you mean being a 4 spd?
my rear wheels are 10.5" wide…so I would have trouble finding a narrower tire to fit that. Really 295 is the smallest I can go.
u put a 4 spd in your car:crackup it was a typo so ur done with the 3.42 idea till u go boooooooost?
ray has a 295-55-15 MT ET Street on his 15x10.5 Weld RT. fits just fine. 28" tall, 10inches wide…
find a way to make it work.
not going boost.
next if forged pistons/rods/arp head studs and ported heads. Then man pants nitrous. Prolly this winter I will pull the motor.
yah what Im saying is a 295 is the smallest most comfortable fit on the wheel.
I was also thinking about selling my current wheels and just getting a pro star drag pack or something.
im not sure what to do right now to be honest.
will this wheel fit my car? The bolt pattern is correct…I am not sure about the offset working…
nevermind. Looked it up. They will fit.
my goal for this season is, to make my car sit exactly the same as this car with the same exact wheel/tire setup
Nice, I do prefer a CCW mesh but those look legit too.
Not a bad wheel choice, its hard to pick these days. I just looked up my telstars, 1250 for my setup now! Holy hell prices have gone up!
