All these memory are interchangable speed types DDR2

Notebook:
2 - 512 mb pc5300-$35ea or both for 60

desktop
1-512 mb pc 4200-$35
1-1gb pc4200 -$60

could I combine the 5300 and the 4200 for 2 gigs ram? or would that not work?

You can it will just run at whatever speed is slower.

you can, shouldnt change speed too much, im runnin 5300 and 4200 in my turion dual core. i did a speed test of 5300 vs 4200 at work and it came out the same as far as the dual cores go

i have a pc2700 will it work its notbook memory and its for a mac i need some upgrade

whats your model?

If you have 2700 its most likely DDR DIMM and the memory i have will not work. the max you can go with 2700 DDR will be pc3200 but only if you have a FSB at 400 Mhz, check ur BIOS.

But send me ur model and ill see what i can find for you
