Find the forumlas from the looks of it. I’ll do melee the next time around, I’ve had to start over a few times and needed something different. How much skill do you need to make that?
AFAIK, you can make any weapon at any level, you just need the parts and the blueprints
u can make weapons?
WTF
I haven’t seen schematics for the deathclaw fist or dart gun :gotme:
Fuzzy, I’m afraid you may find that lockpicking is preferable over science. While I can’t say for certain, it appears as there are many more locks than computers. Repair and Speech however, are excellent choices.
One thing to note, is that karma trumps charisma in regards to dialogue options
yeah, just “click” on a workbench and it will let you make anything that you have blueprints for
Really they go hand in hand, I can’t carry to much in the way of items so hording tons of crap is not something I can do. Though it may make some area’s easier. I’m in the RobCo factory now trying to restore power to see what the mainframe does.
if anyone is still looking for dogmeat
you can find him at the junkyard just north of the bethisda ruins
I’ve had a few instances of wanting to lockpick, but overall science is doing suprisingly good. Fire ants were quite easy with a perk for +50% damage to creatures, just used the sniper rifle. As well as a few other safes that use electronic locks.
Low strength, perception is not nearly as imparing as it was in last games when it comes to combat. Not sure if i’m disappointed, or thrilled by such.
spolier
Not certain if not needing to fight the queen, and the perm. boost to either strength or perception was tied to it at all. Killed the scientist after it. Currently taking over the hotel with the assistance of ghouls, not before killing key figureheads. (+karma booooooo) And merchants (-karma yay!).
The perks are really overpowering.
yeah, they really are. They should of kept the same leveling denominations as oblivion, and just thrown you a perk every 3 levels or something.
with any luck, someone will be modding the game for that once the SDK is released (IF it’s released).
The Rock-It Launcher is ridiculous nothing I would have ever suspected. Dart Gun is nice for it’s instant ability to cripple both legs in one hit.
Got a schematic for an alternate version of the bottlecap mine I have yet to try.
Hrm, I’ll have to check out the dartgun. I could use it’s crippling assistance vs. the Deathclawzzzz.
And yeah, the more schematics you get for one weapon, the better it becomes. In regards to the grenades, you’ll make more with less items.
Wasn’t aware of that, I’ll have to see about upgrading then.
Just maxed out speech, and science, it has proven extremely useful thus far.
Yeah, I’ve maxed Speech, Repair, Lockpicking.
I’m afraid that even with a high speech or high attributes, the same conclusions in dialogue will occur.
I persuaded Moira with speech, she gives me an apple and says something
I persuaded Moira with intelligence, she give me an apple and says the same thing
I persuaded Moira with perception, she gives me an apple and says the same damn thing again.
Etc.
I was more pissed I maxed it out, then 10 minutes later found a bobblehead for speech. But the lack of change to dialog based on skill blows.
If anyone has it for the PC, I HIGHLY suggest this mod
If you cripple someones limbs, they wont be able to use them
How many of you convinced the scavenger in the alley behind Reillys rangers to try and talk to the guy with the explosives?
Its fucking hilarious.
I didn’t get to the underworld yet
i feel like i am running out of things to do, and then 3 more things pop up. I may take a break from this and start fable 2 or finish gow 2.
Killed Three Dog after getting the next location to go to, GNR radio now sounds more like a college radio station quite silly.
Bounty hunters are after me, and slavers think I’m a god.
