Fallout 3 XBOX 360

whats megaton?, is that the wasteland?

if so thats where i am and i didnt even shoot a person, i shot a 2 headed cow, now everyone is after me

now that you can use power armor, do the " you have to shoot them in the head" quest you get from mister cowlery or something upstaris in underworld. You can go around collect 3 keys then break into this fort(not returning the keys to him) where you can get power armor that is even better than the enclaves armor.

p.s. I am past level 20, its just that there are no more perks to unlock

nah, that’s the first town you’re supposed to go to (the one with the live nuke in the center)

yeah thats where i am the bomb town, fuck i shoot a cow and now everyone is after me, this game sucks, i gotta start it over now i think.

i cant even hide, they find me.

you could always blow the town up it you can survive the the trip to the bomb

i already diffused the bomb

then massacre the whole village. problem solved lol

Nice man, I’ll get there… I spent a couple hours roaming the north part of the screen, where I found the legions of deathclaws etc.

I still have a lot of quests left to do, I didn’t even go to the historical building yet, I know underworld is there… just haven’t done it yet. I also have to do paradise falls, and some other shit. Like 36 hours in or so.

to be honest, i had combat armor repaired to 100% and it seemed better than my power armor… we’ll see though, I need to kill some more enclave fggts.

In for an update from FUZZY.

Where do you get the training to where the power armor?

You have to progress through the main quest and then you’ll get it, they don’t hand it to you though, you’ll have to find your own set.

For example, I know a few BOS guys died in church metro or whatever when I first went there… so I just went back and looted their stuff.

if you use your own repair skills can you get stuff back to 100%? all the people i go to can only repair my stuff up to 50-60ish %.

***spoiler ***there is a place called oasis almost center and all the way north, you have to enter from the west(surrounded by huge cliffs). It has some funny scenes and suposedly a character from a past fall out.

i wonder if fuzzy has slept since getting it or called in sick to work today

It depends on how high your repair skill is.

On the charactor I just abandoned, I was able to repair shit to around 80%.

Fuzzy told me he hasn’t gotten any play time yet

I’ll have to find that sometime later… I spent a good amount of time up north, I even called down a missle attack on the area from some abandoned satellite… it wasn’t that exciting though.

Yeah, whatever your repair skill is, that’s how high you can repair your items too. Regrettably you need multiples of it to repair, I don’t believe you can just take a wrench to your blaster and make it better. Needless to say, I have 100% copies of most items, at which point I just start making more and selling them for capz. Oh, also, I only took repair to 95%, I have an outfit with +5 on it that I wear when necessary.

Also, if you have unique items, be careful when repairing them. Last thing you want to do is repair your normal sawed off shotgun with the Kneecapper. I’ve done it before :frowning:

ya know, once you get high enough in level, doesn’t it feel like there’s no point to the game anymore?

for example, on a level 12, with decent perks (ammo looting for instance) I no longer have problems with caps, nor with ammo. It seems like after you reach a certain point, there’s nothing left to look forward to in game, except for beating it.

The level 20 cap and no ability to play after you finish the main quest kind of sucks. I assume that there wont be an expansion pack either unless it’s a whole new game

The game does ramp up in difficulty in some areas. Honestly, I don’t know if I could ever be equipped well enough to handle being ganged by deathclaws. I don’t know, but I would hope the ending was really difficult- regrettably I feel as though it’s not that hard combat wise.

There is a lot to do though, a lot of story and other quests to complete, which I’ve been hunting out in fear of finishing the game.

Sometimes I think I should have had more fun with character creation- for example I immediately took the perks that boosted the XP you gain, the perks that up your skill points earned, the perks that upped your SPECIAL stats, and the ammo scrounger one also.

Not being able to play after you finish does suck though- however I also know there are expansions on the way.

double post- weird.

my repair skill is like 15, lol. Once you get so far, it does become too easy. I kill super mutants in 2-3 shots to the head from a good distance and I have 100+ stim paks just from questing. I should try visiting the death claw layer and load up on nukes. I was hoping for more giant super mutants but I only encountered 2 in the game, one being outside GNR. The ending was way too easy IMO, though the last scene was pretty cool leading up to the monument.

Yeah, super mutants aren’t that hard… 2 or 3 headshots and it’s over.

I haven’t fought a behemoth, I somehow skipped the whole GNR part, haha.

I know there is a limited amount of mini-nukes… I think only 30 in the game, maybe more… I’m not sure.

 for the ending then, although, as aforementioned, that’s what I had heard.

I finally got a few hours in, after starting for the 3rd time in a row. I’m just going the evil intelligence/charisma route with science, repair, and speech tagged.

beat spoilers

Got as many locations as possible from Megaton, blew it up. Annoying perky girl with all the quests survives as a ghoul so you don’t lose the useful quests in that manner. And just mostly exploring what I have and trying to build the dart gun.

are you going melee?, i found a deathclaw fist formula but I do not have enough skill to even use a workbench. Can you combine stuff randomly to build things or do you need to find the forumlas?
