Fashion Thread: Men's Accessories

I’ve had the CF ray bans for 6 months now, not the avaitors.
Best money spent on glasses, You can have them on for hours and not get that annoying pinch on the nose.

And those 5 spee cufflings I bought those in buffalo last month for $5 at the outlet mall lol

yeah CF accessories are totally rad

Those CF Raybans are cool but those socks are a bit too much.

I want to work with bing just so i can see what he wears everyday.

lol… its not a big deal guys… most people barely notice socks.

This may have been discussed earlier… but I’m not going back (I’ll just get distracted by socks).

Where should I buy a quality belt from?

I typically have one style belt that I like which I wear more than any of my other belts. I’m sick of low quality leathers and reversibles that have my buckle squeaking all effing day long. I’d like to keep it around $100, but if it’s worth it would splurge more.

check ebay for something high end, or styleforum.

I snagged a matching pair of black and brown gucci belts for a siiiiq deal last year.

just make a note of the belt width, sometimes you forget and end up ordering a belt that wont slip through the loops on your pants.

or, up your budget slightly and go here: VCH LINK

knives are cool, SA gear is cool… chinese watches are the opposite of cool

This is my watch I bought awhile back. I saw it and really liked it. It’s given me a lot of issues though and I’ve had to send it back to Bulova twice, so I wouldn’t recommend their quality.

Bulova used to be a high quality american made watch back when they were a startup. Now they’re just another dime-a-dozen department store POS.

The only thing you can trust these days are watches with Swiss Movements. Even then, some brands are questionable on quality.

Post in the watches thread if you need help picking something out.

Thanks man.

I liked the styling of it but it’ll be time for me to move on soon. I’ll post in there when I’m looking for one.

What’s a good watch go for and where’s a good place to look?

It all depends on the price range. So it’s really hard to say what’s good. If you’re looking for a lower price-range and you don’t mind a battery-operated quartz watch, I would look at Hamilton, ESQ and Tissot. Don’t buy an Invicta.

THats a bulova with japan parts inside - 21 Gems automatic…

EDIT: quick email to customer service; this watch was made and assembled in Japan

anyone here wear braces?

[ibfggts think I’m talking about the shit on their toofs]

Why buy a watch when it seems all your posts are from your Droid anyways so you are on your phone and know what time it is.

Haha very good point.

doing a bulk-order on a mystery box of Duchamp / Paul Smith socks this week for myself and some friends… anyone want in?

we’re up to 16 pairs @$20 a pair. that includes shipping and customs from the UK… all brand new close out stuff… these are $30+ in stores.

yikes, I feel bad spending $5 a pair for work socks. Are they that good? Not interested, just curious.

it depends… for most guys no they are not worth it.

it depends on what you do for work and whether or not it is appropriate to be a little ‘fashion-forward’ in the office or in meetings. If you would simply wear them casually then go with something else.

these socks are certainly very high quality though.

If you work in finance, legal, corporate sales, real estate etc. etc. where adding some personality to your wardrobe is an asset then yes these are worth it.
