well lets all be clear here clearly k20 has the movie memorized to be correcting the quotes so clearly your a fan and clearly its no joke to you not to mention with out most of these movies the wide spread pop culture we know as import tuning would be something you just do in your garage and make shit from home depot… They main streamed most of the products we have now into big time so although the movies are well… a little cloche they did help with the community and import tuning in general with the coming of the younger kids like k20 into hondas and what not
i wasn’t the one correcting… i thought it was something else because i haven’t seen it in a while and must have not paid too much attention the last time i watched it :lol
but AznJim is right with how F&F made the import tuning scene what it is, as much as everyone rags on the F&F movies, car companies wouldn’t be continuing coming out with cars such as the Evo, Mugen Civic, Civic Si, STi, etc. if people weren’t into it.
The first one definitely had a huge influence over eclipse owners buying blitz style body kits. I was interested in Hondas before the first movie came out, but I will admit, that that movie got me interested further into the import scene. The movies just get more ridiculous as they come out though.
