It’s ok I legit pitted her for everyone.
Updated times in first post!
i heard through the grape vine somehow that his cart was turned up …
oh and also that almost everyone went slower this time because they added more of a bump to corner 5 (the one before the U turn) to make it so you had to go wider around it … Zach the fastest guy there (ran 18.8 last week) was going low 19s tonight … said it was 3-4 tenths slower since they moved that barrier
oh and my best to date was 20.137
Whap…
19s.
Was good to see some of you ! Some I recognized but couldn’t put a name to it.
Steve is a ninja. Period.
Sbardy is balls out… Should rename him CRASH
Death… Name says it all
ChinaXpress seems light such a legit dude
Only grapevine I’m aware of is appears sour I definately don’t claim to be a better driver than anyone…just having fun…even against alot of “turned up” carts. I’m 190 lbs… I better not be faster than some of you flyweights…Especially the Asian ones.! They were born all JDM and shit.
Some carts turn just a little better than others…or I should say, a few suck and perhaps have come slightly out of alignment. So, you need a bunch of factors all in place at one time to pull a great lap. Vodka may or may not help. Place is addicting because you chase that perfect lap, just like drag racers chase a number…but this is so much more fun. Soon everyone will be on equal playing field and times will be subject to weight, practice and open track… but I have to wonder if the barriers move, and they do, a foot out of place in a turn can mean alot (just saw that CFD brought this up…I agree).
I heard thats what makes people heavy!
:0
Yea ppl there were like 19s aren’t possible on the slower setting … Bla bla … You deff drove the balls off it to go that fast second heat! … Interested to see how quick u go once your jacked up!
Yea that bump was screwing me up a tad…I have a feeling I’m losing considerable time there. Jammer and myself were in the first two sessions together. He started a kart in front of me and I couldn’t chase him down plain and simple, however we were only two tenths I believe away from each other…second session he destroyed me lol and I went a tenth quicker anyhow nice time Dan!
I agree 100 percent, I hit that magical rumored 1400 rpm so I’m guessing next time the cart will be on the high boost map?
IMO the whole weight thing isn’t as big of a factor as you gays make it out to be. The Optima’s have the juice to push around, and accelerate 300 pounds just as quick as 180. They are limited on the top end regardless. I’ve seen some real big dudes fucking cranking good times. Jammer was zoomin, looked so smooth through the turns. Killin’ it.
Fuck, I need to check this place out. When are you guys planning on going again?
Your not invited.
Good, because I’d t-bone the shit outa you.
Second session was also his 6th race no?
He ran the 19.7 his 3rd race.
I wonder if weight has an advantage for traction to a degree… I’m sure there’s a point of diminishing returns. I also have to be honest and say my 3rd race ( 2nd on with Steve), I was humming -have to wonder if there is somehow a few cars set up better ( or I got more juice for a few laps— if that’s the case I guess I, of all those before me, am the lucky one to have had this happen). Either way, thanks for the props, I think everyone has the sun shine on there ass sometimes … I don’t expect to be any faster than other skilled drivers once were all on par. I’m not really into racing for time , especially since track will change bits… I want to race people. Taking advantage of mistakes and trying not to let others take advantage of mine is where the fun is at for me.
Oh ok I just saw 6 time slips in the pic he posted so I was confused
Yeah, I ran 6 times. My 3rd was Steve’s 2nd of the day for him. Basically I ran 1-4 races, then otooles, then back for two more. I ran 20.6 or so my 1st race. A little faster my 2nd race and broke into high 19s my third race. 4-6 races we mostly low 20,s maybe one for 19 was in there… But traffic on a Friday night is mostly average folk, so it was hard to get clean laps ( we all battle that ).
Now lets talk about Sbardy with his 19.6!
Sbardy is too big to go 19.6 … The weight will slow him down too much … Lol
He often says size does t matter. He has a nice personality.
I heard they turned him on turbo style (once he heard u had naussss)
