np it helps me alot with not having to get tires for the rear
its an FS series motor lil different then on you are talking about, but until i can get a standalone ill be running 15psi. After that i could start to pull timing.
i knew it was close…
always wanted the MSP
but i settled with a gt-r swapped escort gt…cant even say it was a “gtr” it had a massive t3 on it, tranny went out or id still have it today…
if you need any help with anything, always looking to wrench, dont know many mazda enthusiasts around the area…
couldnt you just run a safc? or a fmu? or is there a reason you cant up the boost with out it? or just trying to do it the “right” way?
im running a safc, and im getting more than enough fuel to run 20psi… all i did was swap in better secondaries, and a 255 walbro…
either way, id love to see it when shes done…
im running SSAFC and i did upgrade my fuel pump with to the walboro 255lph pump, fuel isnt my problem yet. The last thing i need to pick up for the fuel are some bigger injectors but i wont need those yet, but the piggyback i have doesnt have timing control. Once i get a standalone i can up the boost alot more cause ill be able to tune the timing, but untill then im just going to keep it safe like you mentioned. This is my DD so if it blows again im really screwed.
But theres a hand full of mazda guys in the area, we are just not on pittspeed that much. To be honest im surprised i havent got the comment to put in an LS1 yet haha.
Oh it will happen eventually haha.
Good gawd, your living room looks like a tire shop! g/L on the build.
ever hear of something called a boost timing master? i believe msd makes it?
quite a few people have had very good outcomes with them…
not 100% sure how it works, i still have the remains of one from my build that i never used, it replaces the coil, and takes signal from the map sensor, or off the vaccuum line, into a vaccuum block where you can hook up your boost gauge, and it will automatically do your timing at higher boost levels…
just a thought…
damn i wish i still had my damn injectors…
can you use rx7 injectors?
theres 2 different sets, the na uses high imp, and the turbo2 uses low…could be an easier way to get your fuel up to par
ill have to talk you more about the msd thing and ill ask around and see if i can run rx injectors.
i had gotten one when i purchased a vj20 manifold, wastegate package like 4yrs ago,
i never installed it, i have a wiring harness, and the coil…not sure what else i have laying around…
if i still had my other injectors id let you take them, they were brown top rx7 injectors, i think like 500-600cc
i found this for you also

Was the old setup Tien/Bilstein ebay special?
no not at all lol.
Tien S techs and Tokico HP’s which where stock on my car.
oh rly? thats cool. let us know how it drives with the new c/o’s
i have them at 13 in front and 17 on in the back and they are amazing. I have a lil over 250 miles on them. Hell of a bumpy ride but i knew that was going to happen with the stiff setup. Cant wait to AutoX and see how i do.
Some new pics thanks to coondogg
