Favorite stretch of road?

Favorite high speed highway area

man you have some big balls to speed in that area!!!..i know a few troopers that work that area near exit 23…you my friend are playing with fire there

thats a very busy area. but i dont know what he constitutes as highspeeds either… i mean, its a stock motor 240sx…
so 85-90 might be highspeed. :nana

:lmao

Took a nice drive after work today, found this road, Larry Hill Rd. Doesn’t look like much on a map but it is a very fun drive! Sweeping S-turns, one NASTY s-turn (had to dump it in 2nd and slide though the first half), mild to steep hills and if you take Gallupville Rd a nice straight away.

County RT 12 , in St .Lawrence county . 1000 island region , from Alexandrea Bay , to Morristown.

nice man i have done that route and by accident the first time, then numerous times after that, the bike is great through there, also i like 23a out of catskill up the mountain through hunter and up on 296 through windham to 23 lots of twisties on that

I88 out by exit 23…long straight downhill section of the highway and the best part is, cops dont patrol it at night

88 for the most part is fun and easy to run at high speeds on it at night because cops only chill there in the morning

Who cares about long straight sections, i love hitting the twisties

good spot, but ive seen cops there sometimes at night

Yeah I’ve been seeing cops starting to sit on the overpass’s and probably shooting laser.

ever conquer lower brown all the way to upper brown off 30 by the tracks? :banana

Dude don’t even go there. Nobody in their right mind would attempt such a feat.

the best road to me is sacandaga lake roads and the route to the lake we took on the gtg at swift’s place

Good stuff here, I’ve been wanting to go for a cruise for awhile. Maybe some of you want to meet up and go out. Now that the car is running again, I am itching to drive her. :runaway

If I feel like staying close to home, but want a nice/fairly short drive - Usually I will take E Old State starting at 155, take that until it circles back around (turns into Lydius at one point) and meets back up with itself, then cut back down Kings road, over Cordell to Albany street, and back home.

It’s definitely the most fun during the fall, not too populated of an area, lots of trees over hanging the road, very nice. :smile

you aren’t allowed to talk about wanting to meet up on gtg’s for at least a week. :ninja

stop the bullshit!!! ;D

Not much to the road itself. IIRC it’s a dead end anyway…I haven’t been in that area since I left Youngs road in '98. Kinda like flying down Gage Rd from rt20 and clearing the RR tracks at the end then trying to stop before blowing the intersection on thousand acre. :lol

Here are some roads:

Spires Falls Route…this will put you in Byron’s neck of the woods…exit 17 ~10 miles of great road down to ext 16

Mahaffey Road…off camber, blind hills, short but right to the point. Ends with a ~2 miles straight stretch with hill you can get all fours tires off the ground without breaking a sweat…

And the infamous Tracy Rd. If you cannot drive within your limits…don’t drive here. If your car is inadequate in suspension, tires, and braking…don’t drive here. If you’re afraid of getting caught by the troopers…don’t drive here because they DO patrol often. This is a serious road that even taken at ~40-50mph can be knarly at times. I’ve had the 911 Turbo 3.6 airborn mid corner on this road. I post with hopes nobody is stupid and reckless and get’s killed/hurt :nod It looks small buts it’s quite a long road…immediately off exit 30…right of ramp, take first left…oh and watch out for moose

I used to fly down Gage Rd too back in 2001-2002. But now the road is really rough.

:lmao

Yea makes for a fun bike ride downhill :lol

BTW i think i passed you while I was turning onto Ushers Rd today. Your car in the sig looks familiar.
