I will give him $4-4500 for it because I know how much a coupe with no rust and DOHC really is…you wont find one. And if you do prepare for a bid-war.
4500 would be good for an original no rust coupe, but if it’s been repainted then who knows how much rust was fixed?
I would pay up to 5gs if the car is in good condition with no rust on the frame or body and it came etested and certified. Like someone else said, double check how much bondo was used on the car with a magnet.
