j/c do these require a motorcycle license?
Supposed to have a motorcycle license, I ride on a permit, ride on the shoulder when necessary and obey all other laws and I’ve been fine a few months now since I bought it and never worried about it

I have always wanted one of these, but I don’t think I should add another item to my list of impractical transportation. Still very tempting however.
I was thinking a license was only required for bikes(scooters) that do over 40mph or something like that. (?)
I think its anything faster than 29 mph (some states are based on displacement, but i think ny is mph)
DMV classifies it as a LMA, thus requiring you to have a license, anything other 30 I guess.
