hi everyone, just joined up, got a new car, cracked the fiberglass front air dam already, need some advice on how to fix or ne1 to go to around western ny … thanx -Dom
Grind out the cracked glass.
Sand with 60 grit, create a very rough surface
Buy Bondo fiberglass filler, short strand
Apply, sand, smooth, paint
They key is to create as rough of a surface for the new glass to stick to. This will be a physical bond, and can only be as strong as what it can grab on to.
