fiberglass questions

well, i talked to cervinis today and they said with the ram air kit the hood is designed to sit flush with factory. so i didnt rub before, but now i put my 1" intake spacer on i cant get the hood closed.

cervinis told me it will be a bitch to cut that thing off, but it should give me an extra 1.5" of clearance.

so to the question. what do you think the easiest way to get this thing off is going to be? there are 4 rivits on each side that ill have to drill out, but then i think they have the things sealed on there somehow… maybe best way will be with a scraper or something to strat sliding under it and maybe break the bond.?

how much is hitting still ? could u just notch it were the intake is hitting ?

this is my hood ive been using. long story with the one i bought last night. iv i notch it, its useless anyway, so may as well cut it off

use a cutoff wheel wear a dust mask as the fiberglass is nasty and will make you itch like no other
