:pimp:
awesome man, congrats again. I’m sure that shit eating grin won’t leave your face for a while…
Awesome!
congrats… howd it do fuel economy wise on the trip?
With plenty of playing around 18 mpg. I will tally the gallons later. Thinking 19 or 20 is achievable for long trips.
But daily driving an average tank will be closer to the 13/14, I am guessing.
And I thought my car was bad… granted, its down over 200HP… Grumble grumble…
race scott please…
Only in Buffalo every month or two and doubt I am going to schedule time to race someone.
If I am at a red light and someone wants to run I am usually game, but it is not my style to set up race. Maybe make it to a track or two this summer (1/4 and twisties), so if he wants to compare times I am all for it.
Baller.
It is funny how many non-car people have made the comment that it looks the same or “so the new one is on the right?”
The whole ride back Bryan (co-pilot and current owner of my old V) and I, commented on how many leaps forward this car has when comparing to the old one.
To be fair, they look very similar. It’s hard to see powertrain changes from the outside.
Yeah the biggest changes are under the sheet metal and in the interior.
But I agree they have similarities, plus the V1 looks pretty current for almost an 8 year old car.
You can’t even fathom how jealous I am…
MOAR Pics!!! Plz
Congrats! Definitely jealous. Good call waiting it out for the perfect ride. Looking forward to picking up a thundergray sedan, 6MT, recaros, no sunroof, and painted wheels next spring. Def gonna be a long wait and that option list will be hard to find.
I drove the car you are looking for about 2 months ago, granted it was gray recaros, not sure if you have an interior color choice.
Really starting to get better at driving the car. Clutch is heavy and traction can be an art, but I am enjoying it more as my seat time increases. Tried to get a new aston to play tonight, but he was not game. Also saw 3 V1s during my cruise.
Side note: went through and did a full 3M interior treatment including carpets, dash, seats and headliner. I will report back with how well it holds up, but all the products applied easily.
