annnndd my point exactly… this is why there is an abundance of 250’s for sale all the time,
Is it weird that every person I see riding, I look to see if they are wearing motorcycle boots?
And I have yet to see one out of hundreds…
Listen to the guys that wear motorcycle boots Ilya, buy a 300…
Then sell it in a month.
The is fantastic news!
i wear moto boots, they are very comfortable and i could walk in them all day, but thats besides the point, should have just bought a 600 like you already want to before you even get your 300 ( you say u want to master the 300 well bud the “pro” riders on this site say its impossible to master a 300 at your level) now your gonna spend money on modding the 300 to get it close to that 600 you just rode and it wont even compare youll sell it for a good price but wont get your mod money back… but regardless its awesome to hear you are getting a bike they are fun and stress relievers… when you get ur bike we should go riding ill let your ride my sv650 and maybe ill talk you into buying one! i could find you a nice 03-07 for 2-3500
:lol
I’m not selling this anytime soon. That post was made before I picked my bike up and the 300 is more than enough for me for the foreseeable future. Very happy with my purchase. Just the right amount of power at the moment.
My phone crapped itself so no pics just yet. Went to pick it up at lunch and drove it back to work.
hurry up and get some pics and let me know if you needs some help modding it ive got a whole shop set up for bikes now!

While you may think you’re going to stay with it, my advice is ride it first, farkle it up later. Those mods are purely cosmetic and will cost you lots. Ride the bike for a while, then down the road if you decide you’ll stick with it spend the money on extras, otherwise you’ll never get any of it back on resale.
/facepalm
Sure hope you didn’t already blow half a grand on all those mods.
Didn’t buy any mods. Just gear. I’m definitely getting a fender eliminator and LED tail though. Don’t need an exhaust now as this is plenty loud and I like the sound. People made it out like the bike was damn near silent. This will also mean I have no use for the Area-P, etc. So, having ridden it now, the plans are changing regarding what I want to do to it eventually.
Sitting outside my window at the office…
Just because he checked out a 600 and digs it, doesn’t mean anything really. He’s sticking with the 300 which is a sign that his head is in the right place.
I am in love with the new BMW, I have yet to sell my 600 for it because I know I’m not ready for the liter bike jump.
i love white bikes… this kid i know jerry has/had a custom painted white zx10 and it just looked sooo hot! you should let me look at the fender, ive made fender eliminators for really cheap before so before you go spend 100 or more on one from hot boddies or something, let me look at it for ya
I’ll let ya know man, thanks for the offer.
As for white bikes, the other thing that sold me on white as opposed to black is my body is working on making his CBR into a white Repsol. There is just something about white.
Yeah… you’re going to need to explain what you mean by that.
yea def… the next car i buy is going to be white, i miss my old white 850r
well clearly vlad hes going to be the first beginner to master the 300 before he ever thinks about stepping up to a 600, but hes got his head on right so he will never upgrade because the 300 will still be wayyy too much of a bike for him
Congrats.
:lol
You guys take every word wayyyy too literally. I was obviously speaking generally. Let me rephrase: become proficient at riding a small cc bike.
well then you should have started on a 125 grom haha ( its actaully a pretty bad ass bike)
I’m confused as to what your goals are, from what I recall you didn’t want a big bike and were buying this because its what you wanted, not as a stepping stone to a super sport.
If all you need is to become “proficient”, whatever that may mean then then 300 can be for sale in 3 weeks once you are “proficient” in how to operate and turn a bike.
If your goal is to go fast, you’re buying a wrong bike. If your goal is to look cool, you’re buying the wrong bike, if your goal is to be safe as you move on to a supersport, you’re getting into the wrong sport.
But what do I know?
Serious Nancy up in here. Relax Vlad. I don’t plan to sell this in 3 weeks, all I said was down the line (be it 1 yr, 5 yrs, or 20yrs), I will PROBABLY end up with something slighter bigger. Again, you read WAY too much into each and every word. It doesn’t mean next week, and it doesn’t mean soon. WTF.
For now, and for the foreseeable future (meaning, likely long term), this is plenty fine for me. Moving on to the next topic…
