I think your are wayyy better off learning on a 250 or enduro. Crack the throttle on a 600 and the rear tire is spinning, crack it on a enduro or smaller bike and it won’t do that
I’m getting a 300 in the winter/spring that is going to look like this. Until then, I will piece together/buy my gear and get my license, etc. Except, I will have a fender eliminator and a tinted windscreen. I like blue but they don’t make an all blue version of the 300 and I don’t think blue with black will go as well…so going with the theme below. It’s either that or entirely darker gold wheels.
no offense man but it wont look like that for long.
EVERY new rider drops a bike. Get a leg over a shit box bike and get it out of the way first… then total out a new bike. That 300 hits the ground even off the kick stand and its totaled if you claim it. $1500 in plastics, $300 in a pipe and a few hundred in foot controls and that $3k bike is damn close to %70 of its value and will be totaled.
not being a dick I am just shareing an honest opinion
If it happens, it happens. I know, personally, that I will be cautious for a long time. Will do my absolute best to put myself in positions to stay upright and safe.
That being said, I may have some paint work for you eventually lol. I like the look above, but I’d rather have it in blue than black. Like, specifically, that blueish purple that Acura (I believe) had on the Integra many years ago. But then again, black would match my car…
Oh on another note, I dont remember if it’s been mentioned but don’t buy gear to match your bike. Label “KAWI yarr” or color wise (unless the bike is black, then match away!)
