You buy a baja light kit for them, even tho the headlights they made are ugly, id run an acerbis or something. install horn, some people run them off a little battery even. and then get it on the road and ride.
awesome. what’s up with some motard dorifto?
i heard a lot of bad things about the acerbis light output on some of their kits.
awesome pickup. i’ve been wanting a motard for quite some time. why do you say stay away from DRZ400’s?
inspection stickers go on the forks near the triple clamp, so the cop would need to pull you over and learn down to check your inspection sticker, so I doubt he’d get pulled over.
fuck, these are expensive…they are like streetbike territory…
but ugh, so much fun, i’d do wheelies for days
not sure the acerbis come with those kits. those baja kits usually have fugly square headlights the come with. I run an acerbis diamond on my f4i. I also heard ppl saying they werent bright, but I bought one anyways and I dont have any problems seeing at night with mine.
DRZ’s arent bad but if you want something less heavy, more powerful, and basically just more badass…you get the KTM or convert a CRF450 to motard and street title that. More maintenance on the CRF450s but they are bitchin bikes and look sick when motarded out.
any idea what the actual process entails to title a dirt bike in NYS? I have heard its near impossible, basically you have to title the bike in ohio or mass or someplace… I would really like to know
I think title it in one of those states, then you get a title, then you can transfer it to any other state… other than that, no dice.
The bike has slicks on it right now.
The rims are wide enough for street bike tires, Probably end up with pilot race tires.
Trail Tech makes pretty much everything ill need. I can get blinkers right in the hand gaurds, A head light tail light and a bicycle horn. go to ins, then DMV get a 10 day then get an inspection.
I already have an upgraded stator and a battery.
^ tup.
so much fun.
Can wait to see this
