Find me rims for my M

Look into the "work vs xx " get those /search then /thread. They’d look nasty.

They have a +35 version of the same rims. Why is that better?

Doesn’t matter. I personally like to see the rotors/brakes behind the wheel whether it’s 12" rotors or 15" rotors.

I actually like those. THANK YOU. But $800/each? Got anything that looks like that but for half the price? I posted the TSW Snettertons and Axis Penta’s on the first page which have a similar spoke design. I’d probably get one of those instead.

TSW Snettertons:

Axis Penta:

Those look pretty nice!

Which ones? I’m leaning towards the Axis Penta’s if I was to go that spoke design. Maybe my photoshop just sucked of those wheels because I did kinda like them but everyone ignored them on page 1. :rofl

The AXIS Penta. Definitely nice.

Yup axis Penta are much better. Call around for the works. Shop around for deals. But if you don’t, the axis penta would look real nice.

+1. id go with those

So can someone explain to me this offset business Bennyfizzle is complaining about? The lower the number the further they stick out?

not a wheel expert buttttt, i think lower the offset the more “flush” it is with the fender.

“hella flush” cars usually roll on real low offset rims which is why there flush with the fender

yeah pretty much right with the offset, lower the number farther the wheel sticks out.

Pentas look good, you can get used rims that are mint shape, look on zilvia.net

Okay…so I should be shooting for the mid 30’s range in offset then? I know my Maxima was +43 so I’m assuming since my car is technically a Nissan, it is probably close to that.

depends on wheel width too, if I were you i wont buy wheels until you know exactly the offset you want. Im guessing a 9" wide wheel with a +20 offset would be nice

Well the stock M45’s are 19x8.5…so the width I’d be using are 8.5 or 9. Maybe 9.5. Doubt 10 would fit perfectly.

FX50 wheels are 21x9.5, do people report that they fit no problem?

Put your info into this. Measure the distance from the face of your current wheels to the outside of the fender or inner fender lip, depends if you want to roll your fenders and/or how your fender is made.

No, they don’t. For some reason I thought those were 9. I’d probably do 19x9.5 then. But they only come in +35 and +40 offset as far as I can tell.

Just imagine it as being a ‘built in spacer’.

+45 wheel with 10mm spacer=+35=better than +45.

I’d consider a slight stagger, for your purposes MY opinion is you should shoot for 19x8.5 et30 up front, 19x9.5 et35 out back to start with, and maybe add a spacer if you can. It’ll look tits.

But seriously I’d like to see some 20x10.5s et-6 on this pig.

I think the Leon Hardiritt Bugels would be insaneee on there

Okay, that’s kind of what I was thinking (bout the spacer and the numbers).

Is staggering a pain in the ass in terms of maintenance (rotations)? Or do you just buy two different sets of tires and then just replace as you go?

I thought 20 and 21 wouldn’t look good unless I slammed?

Holy! Nice site! I’ll have to go through that.

Maybe this thread hasn’t run it’s course :ninja. Thanks for the help guys. This is only my second set of real wheels. The 5zigens on the Maxima were the only after market set I ever had.
