Ya, just got back from checking out the 88’, I was unimpressed to be honest, the engine and tranny were bomb, but everything else was kinda just old and shot, suspension was decent, and a spray bomb paint job, I’m very tempted to just throw a 327 at my 94 and see what happens.
i got my 86 for 2500 with guard rail rub and 60k on it, the thing with a gbody is the first step is remove everything shitty, (305 (H.O. 185 horse???),200r4, non posi and go from there)

alright, bigblock, you’ve seen my car if you remember it, and ya, I know this is a stupid question, but would you trade it straight up for an 88’ camaro, with a 350 v8, 700r4 tranny(those have like 10,000 on a rebuild) newish suspension, those have struts, the paint is just garbage, and I would keep my interior.
hard to say. why is guy wanting to trade you for your car? with your car being hard top i would convert it to v8 IMO. doa budget truck motor lsx swap. will be more driveable and have loads of parts availability.
I’m not really sure why he wants rid of his, said it was too loud or something, while i would love an lsx swap, I’m leaving for school in august, and I dont know if I would be able to pony up the 2500 for parts, this would be said and done. I drove it today, and the thing punches hard. How do you feel about just a 350 small block, its bored out to a 355 i think.

slomaro ive never seen your car, let alone know you for that matter but i would deff trade with him either way. only thing is i dont like the TPI or cross-fire fuel injected whatever its called. but man i thik you should go for it deffinetly. let us know what you decide.

It’s actually got a carburetor so no tbi, just needs tuned, I’m gonna do the trade, something about a driving project car that draws me, lol, thats not healthy.

Ya, so guy officially backed out, jerk, but o well, I’m gonna do a 3x00 hybrid motor build I think to go with the transmission I’ll be putting in my car, I know it isn’t the same, but it’ll quite a bit faster, has anyone around here done that?
