Well Sorta. I went to the Time Attack this past weekend at New Jersey Motorsports (http://www.njmotorsportspark.com/)
Scion had an owners event, so we got free in, and free Skip Barber instruction. Then they let us take our cars on the track for some non-competitive fun. Kept us in groups of 5, trying to follow the line created by the instructor. Never really went top speed, but still managed to chew up my tires (that and the 3 hour trip back on the turnpike doing 90 in 92 degrees). Tons of fun, giving me the bug to do this again.
The pic below…they caught me shaking my fist in disgust because the girl in front of me was 30 car lengths behind the leader and kept braking.
Still fun for a novice.
