Hey man  I was there, I wish we were on the track at the same time. I was in the advanced/experienced session. I was with the silver 240.

Should post these up on the touge forum. I do believe your car is a bit too low though  I was like that as well but had it raised back up. Much better now.

yeah the suspension needs a lot of work I would like to get a hold of can align or some one with some more experience to help Dad and I set it up. haha I cant wait too get a solid tune and rear tires so I can really dig into that track its really fun.

Adam

Ya swing by can alignment for corner balancing and alignment, its worthwhile

You built an S-chassis as a lapping car and you’re not going to Sasha to get your suspension setup?

needs more CCW and less JDM wheels.

Needs more bings on it too

hahaha yeah I know I spoke to Sasha about the car. Its just a mighty trek out to his shop where Can Alignment is just around the corner. I am still up in the air about the whole thing.

Both are very competent authorities on S-car chassis setups.

I promise you won’t be disappointed with either.

Car looks great! Awesome work! Any vids?

looking goood!!! any of my parts make it onto the car? LOL

hahah thanks Keez, Yeah we are using your oil pump and crank pully for now. I am trying to talk dad into a 2.2L stroker for that old block you sold us … But I think what I have in the car now will really be good for a few years. I cant wait till the thing runs tip top then I will start taking video. I also really need a gtr brake master because the one I have is not holding pressure (so any one that has a working one please pm me) I had to pump the brakes on almost every corner hahahaha …Brutal but I just wanted to drive it.

looks good man

Are you running z32 brakes? You will need a z32 BMC most likely…either a 1" or 17/16"…check this out…

yeah I am running gtr’s up front and z32 turbo ones out back . I have a 1" gtr brake master but the BMC wont hold the pressure . I have bled the brakes a few times and the BMC brake level stays constant but the pedal still drops about an inch them stops . so I think the seals are shot in the BMC. I donno

I also have a little problem with over heating form the pictures from my other thread do you think my intercooler is blocking the rad enough to over heat it after 4 laps at 5 psi? (that was the problem I was having) I checked the thermostat in some boiling water and it works.

let me know what you guys think.

that rad fan seems small, and is there any shrouding for the rad.

get a sr koyo (or whatever) rad and the fan shroud…
http://son240sx.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10563

The rad is a Koyo KA rad, the fan should only be needed when idling. and there is major ducting to this area. I’ll try to post better pics on the ducting latter

Anyone think that if my altenator/waterpump belt is too big that it wont spin the water pump as good as it should? the altenator bracket is right at the limit and the car squeals on start up for a while

it looks like you have an aluminum rad correct? get dual fans from a tuarus and build a shroud. also build some ducts for the front especially the top of the rad/intercooler.
