i went up in the moutains on y camping trip this weekend and cought 4 bass a trout and 2 catfish
My father caught this when we went to Raystown in July
I was fishing in the Ohio Thursday night and caught sauger, carp and catfish…
looks like a northern hog sucker
i did go once this summer, but it was in the gulf stream, we go on a private marlin charter every summer out of morehead city NC… def an awesome experience,
i’m going today. i was gonna go to a nearby pond but i want to fish the river. any suggestions near say mckeesport?
fish the yough at boston
fished this morning on the mon caught about 15 white bass none over 14 inches.
last wednesday caught a 22inch striper on the mon on a spinnerbait, still waiting for the pics to get developed
me and the girlfriend went tonight down mon city,
after i had to convince her with a 6pack…
within the first 20 secs of having my 1 line in i caught a 17in tiger musky,
then my girl caught a small 15in catfish and another much bigger 21-22in cat that was just under 4 1/2 lbs on my little scale
i tried but too much boat traffic : (
shelby do you got a pic of the tiger musky, i fish the rivers like 3 times a week and never caught a musky or northern pike but i have heard of them being caught
well finally something worth posting up.
this bass was caught at raccoon by my friend. he used the towel to hold it because hes afraid to touch fish.
i didnt have a tape measure on me but to give you an idea of the size my shoulders are about 20inches wide. this fish was easily 24 inches and weighed about 6 pounds.
this is me with the fish.
the best part of this fish was that he hit rainbow powerbait, he was hooked by a size 10 hook and brought in on 6lb line.
i was fishing the rivers all summer with little success. i think it had something to do with the heat.

na, it was too dark for my cell phone camera,
I think im goin today to mon city for a little (if the river ist too high)
i’ll try to catch another… ( I caught the musky right againt the wall, im guessing he was just eatin up all the minnows that came to the light of the lantern)
and 240… thats a big bass :bigthumb:
damn, nice catch!
that picture in your sig? was it taken by the dashshield damn at glen gormley?
Yeah, it’s down river a little, but you can see the lock/dam from there. I live about 10 minutes away. Besides fishing the dam oppisite of the lock, thats the only place from shore I know of. I have no idea what glen gormley is though…
fuck, it takes me 6 years of fishing just for bass to get a 6 pounder and some guy catches one on powerbait, yeah you definitely just found out my pet peeve
went to mon city today… caught NOTHING, just one bite on the catfish pole…
then went to the pigen creek inlet, nothing there also.
stopped at canonsburg lake and got nothing, then fished the stream across the road and down stream of the dam overflow at canonsburg and caught about 25 bass in an hour and a half, nothing big… just 10-12 inches max.
thinkin of goin again this week, know any good lakes?
the way he caught that fish was all luck and totally unexpected. we have never been really interested in bass fishing.
im lloking to catch some steelhead in erie within the next few weeks. i heard the fishing was really good up there, anyone hear that?
Jimmy
went the 12th at around 11am when it was starting to get real cold out…
caught about 25 or so bass, all around 12inches i would say.
Just catchin them 1 after another… its crazy how many their are in this spot all the time.
heres pics of a few, they arent much
got a nice trout out of millers run(washington county) yesterday. It was only about 14" but that’s pretty big for the fall stocking. Probably wade around montour run tomorrow, got some new spinners and shit I wanna try out. I’m done with bass for the year, the boat is winterized.
i went out last week and snagged a carp but that was it
