Flat Blacking my car

flat color vinyl wrap?

Unless it’s some huge rusty multicolored POS, I’d probably advise against it.

Yeah, I’ll probably leave it for now because for being a 10 year old Neon, the paint is really good and it’s very rare for me to see one of the same year in the same condition.

AS MUCH AS PAINTING USUALLY, LAST TIME I LOOKED INTO IT IT WAS $3K FOR MY CAR

Ouch.

Do it,you wont.

^ LOL

Still looks better than some flat black civics I’ve seen.

no one seems to have picked this up from my build thread yet but I guess I’ll spill the beans:

flat black wrap, one panel at a time.

How much was it for a quarter panel peice or are you cutting it from one huge sheet?

one big roll. sides, targa, fenders, flares are already done.

Just the rear quarters are going to be the real bitch and I’m no pro. Of course I’m not shooting for show quality, this is going to get torn to shit on the track.

Do you mind sharing how much it was for a roll of that?

<$200

edit: but I COMPLETELY understand why they would charge around $2-3k to wrap it for you.

Thanks

joke not found…
just spray paint it…its gunna look like road kill anyways

Flat Blacked my Forester myself in my friends driveway, it’s not show quality and it’s just my winter beater but it turned out pretty good. Two coats of 99 cent rattle cans and 2 coats of flat clear coat. The clear coat really helps get rid of a lot of the blotchiness, hardest parts are the roof and the hood.

Sorry for the dirty pic:

Not so dirty pic:

wow that looks great for rattle can
