Flat Blacking my car

that is an awesome daily

Thank you, if only it had a turbo.

That link doesn’t answer my question :whip:

actually it most certainly does.

i followed the very 1st link and what do you know…

my car is flat black, doesnt look too bad… the hood just looks like shit

hardly, just honest. go buy some cans and spray the thing

Before I sold my blazer I strongly considered rhino lining it like that. It would be bulletproof lol

I wouldn’t get it done unless I knew it would be damn near perfect. I don’t want uneven spots. The current paint is still good and a backyard rattle can job would be dumb at this point.

Just rattlecan it and stop bitching

I rattlecann’d my old pos. You’re talking about a neon, I’m sure it’s a pos

just get 6 cans of krylon, a few friends, a bunch of beers and spray it. For Christ sake it’s flat black it’s going to look like shit anyway you do it, that’s the whole fucking point

I give up

We’ll see in spring :snky:

Also, I really like that forrester

Doing it in vinyl is a complete bitch. Honestly, it’s a Neon, don’t waste your time.

so snky

nothing will come of this i can pretty much guarantee it

$100 says you wont have anything remotely fast in the spring. youre not neonglh GTFO

Some cars flat black looks good on, other cars not so much. If the paint is flawless now why change it, unless you really hate the color?

Whoa, who said anything about performance mods? We’re talking about flat black paint here, lardass.

$100 bucks says you’ll still be in a minivan, hahah.

$100 says you’ll still be fat in your Town & Country minivan.

flat black looks good on expensive cars (because it’s crazy to do it) and on beaters that already looked like ass. when you do it to anything in the middle it’s just stupid and will kill any remaining resale value.

Good point, I’ll push this idea to the side.

Dont do it, you will be driving a big fail box with wheels
