Flywheel Install

Looking for someone in Richmond Hill with an impact gun to quickly install my flywheel and pressure plate, would be willing to give food to. Thanks.

I can come by to hand tighten the flywheel bolts on for ya… What kind of food you offering?

PM me if you’re interested.

LOL hot dogs, coke, etc :stuck_out_tongue:

Dude… You shouldn’t tighten those by a gun. You should use a torque wrench and make sure 100% that they are set to 120ft/lbs.

I can’t man, the crank keeps spinning and I don’t want to put a socket in the cam gears.

prybar in the teeth of the flywheel…

^^ that works!!

Or, even better… put a 27mm (iirc) socket on the crank shaft at the front of the engine. Brace the handle against the tension rod mounts…and wham bam, your steady as a rock.

I’ve snapped the bolts off in the flywheel before… do NOT use an impact gun.

Ya man, hold the crank. If you can;t find a socket in that size or are too cheap to buy one, an adjustable wrench works too.

ahh true ill try it tomorrow, thanks

GL. Let us know how it goes.
