i am currently getting a new clutch and fly wheel for my car, i have heard rumors about getting to light of a flywheel will through off my harmonic balancier(sp) but i really have no idea, i have a 92 240sx 2.4l dohc i have been told that 14lbs is as low as i can go? does this sound correct or is completly false? please some suggestions and info would be great.

Hey, how much did that run you? B/c I ended up getting the same clutch package as you and now I’m wondering if there’s any place that does same-day machining on a weekend since I cannot afford any downtime with my car. If it’s a good price, I might as well just pick up a lightened one like you. Add me to msn, I’ve gotta ask you stuff bout hte clutch.

I have a Cusco, much lighter than 14lbs and I have no problems with it.

If its soooper light race spec you might have problems streeting it, but
anything around 10lbs should be fine.
