Flywheel reduction, the goods and the bads

Hi,

I am think about reducing the weight of my original flywheel. The thing is that there is some down side to it as per some documents I have red. I don't want to do a drastic reduction but was thinking more like 5 lbs. What is the original weight of the 240sx 95 ??? And also what are the goods and the bads of doing suck a modification. If I do it, I will be done by professionnal that have already did it on a lot of other cars. I don't want to spend 400$ on a lightweight flywheel so... that was my option.  Tell me what you think !!! ( need actual facts plz )

Other than that, I believe the stock KA flywheel is 23 lbs or so IIRC.

I already red your post. If it 23 lbs, the only reduction I will do is a 5lbs. I don’t want to screw things in my engine and also for my own security.
