I can help flag since I probably wont drive my car on the track since i am a pussy.
Dan, that’d be awesome if you could. The only problem now is getting flags, haha.
Justin, I replied to you, it’ll be $100 each. 12pm - 6pm. You can send it to me whenever you’re ready.
oh nice, a mart tay track day.

haha sure, but why not bring a taurus instead?
Will there be divisions between different classes of cars? Fast / Slow?
If so, I might just drive my car…

If he can’t get the required # of seats by the deadline he will refund whoever has already paid.
When is the payment due? I am hoping to pay Mark at the west end meet.

I just got back from my first exposure to a solo sprint event in Brampton where I met some guy from this forum who told me about this event. Would I be welcome there with my 2001 Corolla?
Open to anyone.
Hopefully more people pay before the deadline so this event can continue.
I just double checked my calendar and I’m currently scheduled to work. I will talk with my co-workers on Monday (we are open EVERY day of the year) to see if I can get someone to cover my shift on that day so I can drive.
Once I get a confirmation on having my shift covered at work I will register and send money. I realize this is cutting things close but I don’t want to shell out $100 for something I may not be able to attend.
As it is, I am highly motivated to get out to Dunnville. The drive time to money spent ratio makes track time a better investment in my book. This is coming from the mouth of a guy who has a total of one lapping day and one solo sprint event under his belt.
Thanks for the swift response. Maybe I’ll swing by the office tonight and see what I can wrangle for a shift swap on the 16th. That way I won’t be cutting things quite so close to get money to you for the deposit.
Hey dude, I’m glad to see that you’re really enthuisastic about coming to dunnville. I myself have only been to 4 lapping days this year. So i’m pretty much a newb.
Dunnville is awesome as its only an hour away and it’s a fairly cheap track to drive on. It’s a great place to develop your driving skills that’s for sure. That’s why I try to go to as many events as I can.
Now… try and get that shift taken ASAP. Monday isn’t that bad for payment time but it’d be the last day if anything. Good luck! I have to call the owner of the track on tuesday to let him know if we can do it or not.
That’s why i need everyone to pay up ASAP.
Here’s an updated list:
If we cannot get 30 people or even 25, worst case scenario is that it would bump up our cost to $120 per person for 12pm to 6pm. However, I hope that doesn’t happen as I hate it when I have to ask for more money since I already said the fee would be $100. So try and get more people if you could. I should be receiving about 5 more deposits by tomorrow.
Thanks guys!
