I am curious about a few details during the day.
Have we had any thoughts about how many cars will be allowed the track at a time or how passing will be handled?
My experience is kind of limited in the scene so far but my first time taking my car on the track was at the SVTOA school in Dunnville and I felt very safe with the rules they set in place before we were allowed on the track. I have heard a few horror stories about club lapping days where there was no limit to the number of cars on the track at a time or how passing was to be handled. As much as I enjoy some competition and seeing how fast we can make our cars go I also need to drive home in my ride.
I will be there one way or the other but I will feel safer knowing how things are going to run in advance. Any discussion on this topic is certainly welcome.
The last event at Dunnville, there maybe 4-6 cars on at a time.
It’s a small circuit, 2km long, so I imagine that will be the limit at this event.
insurance for the track is for a max of 12 cars on track at once.
rules are really up to you, however i suggest no passing on the front straight EVEN under a cool-down lap.
Mandatory cool-down lap, with 4 ways on to let others know.
Passing, no passing into or through a corner. ONLY pass when you have been waived by and it is safe to do so.
Other than that, if you make a mess, ie spin out, come off track immediately grab a broom and go clean your shit up.

Zagatto, I believe the limit of cars that will be allowed on the track at once will be 12.
You will be allowed to pass on all the straights except the long front straight.
You should also have your windows down so that you can wave for someone to pass you.
Before you exit the track, you will be required to put your 4 ways on and do one cool down lap.
Don’t worry, i’ll go with you for a few laps to show you exactly where you pass, etc, or someone else can do it.
Don’t worry too much. 
I’ll try to print a handout too.
No drifting, no e-braking and if you or you car is getting loose and going off pull off track and take a breather.
There are drift days for that and I’ll gladly point them out to you.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback on lapping rules. I had seen the no drifting comment in the original post. Some of the other commentary about passing in the two straights (this is the same as the SVTOA class I took there) and the 12 car limit (this is double what there was at the class) are definitely welcome.
I look forward to any pointers I may get from more experienced drivers while we’re there. I may be able to round up some flagmen if needed as well. If we are short I am willing to sit out for a while to take a turn watching a corner while my car cools.
Drifting will NOT be allowed. Especially if you are intentionally trying to drift.
You will be warned and then kicked off if you continue to drift.
