get yourself some gatorade or pedialyte. Letting yourself become dehydrated will shut down your bodyās natural defenses and youāll get even sicker.
My g/f got it real bad. She was sick, then insisted on going into work a midnight shift, she got real sick and puked the whole time, then wouldnt drink anythingā¦ She didnt hold anything down solid or liquid for an entire week and she ended up in the ERā¦

Dr. Darkstar says youāre wrong.
not a lot of sugar in gatorade, and pedialyte is specifically designed to prevent hydrationā¦ :slap:
This is also what the ER doctor told me. ER doctor > j00

ya drink gatorade because all those pro athletes endorse it and its like the number 1 sports drink in america but its kinda funny that you dont see any fuckin athletes drinking it during games huh? wonder why? wonder why they always seem to be drinking water?:dunno:
Um yaā¦ I see alot of players drinking itā¦ what games are you watchingā¦

no your wrong. they are drinking out of GATORADE cups and out of GATORADE dispensers but in that cup is water 9 out of 10 times! plus gatorade showers are water too:rolleyes:
if you ever played a sport and tried to drink gatorade during it youll see why athletes usually dont like it!

i could do it but i wouldnt be good;) my reaction times would be like 3 seconds:D
wellā¦ to be honestā¦ you would want crackers and some sort of liquid, low sugar and all, but the sugar content is not the problemā¦
once i ate a fish / mac n cheese at college that was about 12 months oldā¦ food poisoning within a matter of hoursā¦ it took me 3 days of throwing up to āfixā itā¦ you need substance in your stomach to allow acidic movement to try to flush / kill the āpoisonāā¦
so try to eat somethingā¦ small amounts, saltine crackers and water / ginger ale / gatorade.
ps, donāt go get quaker steak wings the following weekā¦ i was throwing up all over carnegieā¦ pretty funny thinking back on it.
hope ya feel better
Only on PittSpeed could an āIām sickā thread turn into an argument about Gatorade vs. waterā¦
Anyways, Iām with turbovw18 on this oneā¦ saltine crackers, low-sodium pretzels, and ginger ale/pepsi would do you some good.
And donāt forget water.
Are you sure you got food poisening, maybe you got the fluā¦I just got over itā¦ I had the shakes, was tired, sweating, sore all over then I threw up all night one nightā¦ My daughter had it to:( Just make sure you get some rest, and if you dont wanna drink anything then dont if you keep throwing it upā¦As long as your having output as in (peeing) your not gonna dehydrateā¦ Hope you feel better soonā¦
