for the hamburg/southtowns peeps

the, I believe, oldest building in Hamburg burned down this morning (the buxton inn). It’s quite a shame really… I used to really enjoy going there for drinks, especially in the summer when they have vollyball going on.

was also a stop on the underground railroad… makes me wonder if the owner had something to do with it. Their buisness hasn’t been very good lately.

yep…all you can eat crab legs too. mmmm…crab legs.

Nooooooo! I played volleyball there all summer and loved it! Granted, it was kind of a dive.

Had no idea it had any history to it. That’s a shame.

Good, it was an eyesore, glad it’s gone /newmancomment.

X…

so because the owner has ties to the underground railroad he must be an arsonist also lol

lol you know what I meant :stuck_out_tongue:

the place was pretty haunted too… the employees used to have alot of strange stories about it(as well as a girl I know who used to live in one of the apartments upstairs)

it’s a shame

word… buxton in was the shit. Crab legs, volleyball, drink specials. Sad to see this place go, it was a good establishment.

R.I.P. Lindy’s Buxton Inn

my friends used to go there and get crabs on thursday quite often… i never went cause i had to work.

i think im going to do a little drive by today

Back in the day when I use to do landscaping. That was one of are accounts… Lindy use to also hook us up with some drinks after mowing…

I wish I would have known about the crab leg deal though…

what is this crab leg deal how much was it?

Ah, hell. Used to be a good spot to go for a beer or two, and free popcorn.

whoa, that’s crazy. I always saw a pretty clean black z31 in the parking lot.

A bunch of my regulars are also regulars at the Buxton. I’m even friend’s with the owner’s daughter. Sniffle Although this might mean that my business might pick up…

On the site it says $15 all you can eat… If I would have know I would have been there every Thursday night.:banghead: Just when I find out about it, it’s in a thread about the place burning down…

We use to eat the Villager in East Aurora out of Crab legs… But they have since closed…

Anyone know if there are any other places that have all you can eat crab legs? And don’t say the Casino because they suck when they are cold…
