For those who study martial arts

I probably should’ve not left this quite so open ended. I’m looking for a new way to get a great work out (I can’t get back into weight training too seriously thanks to the fubar’d shoulder fooball left me with). Combine this with the fact that I’ve always been fasinated with the body control exhibited by those who have mastered some of these arts, and I think I’ve found something that could work for me.

Even when I’m in good shape I’m not a body type that lends itself to flipping around in the air or doing leaping kicks. Looking around online for a few days leads me to think I’d like a form of Kung Fu. I’ve got decent upper body strength, and that art is mostly striking with the hands. Plus I’ve been reading about some of their training techniques, and it seems like vigorous training.
