Martial Arts?

I was thinking about getting into some kind of martial art for both exercise and self defense, and was wondering what kinds (if any) you people are in to? I have heard a lot about Krav Maga, however that discipline appears to be heavily weighted towards the fighting end…

So how do you guys (or girls) learn to kick peoples asses? :wtcslap:

I studied Kendo for a few years, and basic Akido. Sword fighting and close combat grappling which bled a little into a jujitsu style.

whatever you take make sure it’s something you enjoy, there’s no sence in doing something you don’t like.

Try Muay Thai. Its extremly aggresive and effective. Whereas other martial arts have a Mental and physical aspect M T doesn’t. Muay thai is all about conditioning and practicing. Honestly after Muay thai almost everything I have taken (or researched) seems like a joke.

Is someone bothering you at school?

Want me to talk to them?

they took my mittens

Mittens eh.

You don’t need Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu.

All you need is Rex Kwon Do.

You think anybody wants a roundhouse kick to the face while I’m wearing these bad boys? Forget about it.

Get yout firearms license grab a weapon and go to a firing range and sign up for target practice and clay shooting. It’s the best self defence class you will ever take, and a great way to take out some agression.
No one will ever take try to beat you up for your mittens again and if they try you could just give them your mittens and then let the guy run off, wait till he get’s about 300 to 500 meters away and then use him as target practice,…oh yeah and only use a little 22 and aim for the leg you don’t want to kill anyone or anything

Seriously speaking, I think kick boxing is a great sport to get into.

 Oh man that’s so true…so true LOL!

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight’
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming.
And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
Oh, say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

HEEEEEEEHAAAAAAA let’s go buy some guns and liquor partner!
