Ford GT was dead, now it's coming back?

Ford wants to use a new supercar to take another crack at Le Mans, after considering some other possible alternatives. Substantiating these musings are reports that a Blue Oval rep was reportedly on hand for a recent meeting about 2016 GTE-Class rules, according to Road and Track. That would put the new GT in the same racing class as the Corvette, Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche 911 and others.

I think it would be awesome. Maybe it will make the Ford GT lose value?

good news… any best on if the new one will be a hybrid?

+1 I have the Chevy and Dodge super cars, I need the Ford then Audi.

zombie ford gt

You can maybe call the Viper a supercar but a 97 Vette?

Has GM made a better platform? I’d consider it their super car.

Top of the line sports car, yes…super car…ehh no

So by that logic the STi is a supercar? it’s the best Subaru has to offer. I guess Jeep SRT-8 is a supercar too since it’s the fastest Jeep. Stand back, here comes a Kia Forte Supercar!

lol

Don’t forget the HelloKitty Dart.

oh lordy… here we go again with the supercar vs. hypercar etc debate.

More like supercar vs car debate.

The way I see it lol is sports car, up to 200mph , super car 200-250 hyper car 250+ but that’s just my .02 and I don’t mean their theoretical top speed either or “it will eventually hit 200”

Semantics eesh, how about Icon car? I don’t give a shit really I just like driving cars that are bad ass. I’d rather drive my boosted Cavalier then 95% of the cars out anyways. Both my Corvette and Viper will do over 200mph…

I just want to choose from one of these as I wake up Saturday morning to get a coffee and beat on Sat night.

lol. I guess 35 of my neighbors have supercars then. Corvettes are almost as common as Civics these days.

That’s a lot of vetts

It’s weird they’re very common in Buffalo not so common in most other places

Also lol @ super car I always thought the Corvette was the “american sports car”

What would make you feel more gay, driving a corvette or civic?

Id never probably own a civic. But next car I’d love to buy a vette.

I’d feel way more gay driving a vette. Especially because I’m young so every person who saw me would just assume I’m a rich kid and yell “faggot” at me or assume I’m some type of gay faggot.

At least in a stock civic I could drive to work and the grocery store without everyone assuming I bang dudes and shit.
