Ford vs Chevy title bout.

True, but you bought the smart way (used).

i don’t understand how people can afford brand new stuff anymore.

And also got a great unheard of deal.

03-05 Diesels are still 25-30,000 dollars with 100kmi on them here. That’s retarded. Can get a new gasser for that, which will suffice for 99% of towing anyone will do.

anyone wanna buy a nice used diesel pickup? fits in any parking spot.

diesels last 2x what your gasser will bra!

Upkeep on diesel is way more money for wear and tear items as well braaaa.

but if your getting twice the milage out of it then its ok

BRAAHHH :hijacked

Bakerian gets a pass from me only because toyota doesn’t offer diesel. :thumbup

if he’d bought a gas chevy i’d have kicked em in the nuts.

Buy used gas Chevy for 15K, use leftover 25-30K for something wayyy cooler than saying that you’ve got a slightly newer/cooler truck. Just IMO.

I’m not debating that buying a new F250 diesel loaded out for 50K is retarded, my Dad just did that last year and paid if off. He’s just a diesel dude by heart.

  1. Buy a used Chevy gasser
  2. with the extra $15k swap in a Detroit diesel.
  3. ?
  4. Handjobs from Wayne
  5. Profit

ummm try again. Diesel powered trucks are far more reliable and on average have a lower cost of ownership then a gas powered vehicle. I work on them for a living and know plenty of guys that actually do work their trucks hard. Those that do real towing etc all own diesel for a reason. You can’t beat the usable torque output. Their peak numbers don’t mean much, the only gas engine I’ve seen that you can actually get good work out of is a 6.0 chevy. Also the arguement that the tundra is the king of “heavy duty” gas trucks is idiotic. Of course your over built 1/2 ton toyota out does a 1500 chevy. It’s built to, but it doesn’t come close to a 3/4 or 1 ton domestic. It’s a middle of the road truck between the 1/2 and 3/4 ton, but costs almost as much as a nicely option 3/4 ton. Also on the topic of dodge not being in the contest that is also idiotic. Does anybody else here know the maximum GVW of a trailer for a non Class A CDL driver is 10,000 pounds. So buying a dually 1 ton, because the tow capacity is greater then that without the license to use it is just silly. Good luck to those that tow out of class, cause I’ve seen the kind of fines DOT and the staties issue for it.

so wait a twin turbo vette and 700whp evo arent?!?!?! lmao

For a diesel Id have to go with a Dodge. Too bad the trucks a piece of shit though.

Powerstrokes are junk and thats why they keep changing them. The 6.0 was by far the worst.

I dont like the independent front end on a GM. They cant handle the weight of a plow like a Ford or Dodge can. They look like this with a plow- \

The Dodge trucks are rot boxes and fall apart before 100k.

yea you cant compare the big threes 3/4 and 1 ton to yotas 5300 lber lmao

Twin turbo vette and high hp evo’s are to compensate for the crooked dick, not micro dick

Well if you compare based on price for price yes you can. A 4x4 tundra is just as expensive as a 4x4 2500HD chevy. Yes depending on what options you want you can make either more than the other, but point being if you at an extended cab 4x4 you can have a 3/4 ton chevy if you give up your power windows and only upgrade the sterreo and save 200 bucks. Either way to each their own but to say that a tundra is anything more then a nice half ton is silly. Just like saying it out classes all other half tons in silly.

still cant compare via price but w/e

I love my yotas but had to get the chevy. The bang for the buck was too attractive to ignore.

how so? If they are relatively the same price then why can’t you compare one to the other? Especially if somebody is trying to make the arguement the the Toyota product is better the the chevy. My only point is for the money of a nice 4x4 Tundra you can have a slightly less nice 2500 HD 4x4 that will tow and work much better or for only slightly more you can have an equally equiped 3/4 ton. My only point is that the arguements that Toyota makes the best 1/2 ton is a pointless one, because it’s priced like a 3/4 domestic which it simply doesn’t equal.
