I dont believe this for a second. Is Jayson hasnt recieved anything why would he lie about it. You dont seem like the most reliable person through the way you present yourself. Many things can be forgotten like shipping out important documents through the mail. Seeing as Jayson has now seen this im sure he will do a follow up on it on monday. If this was my car i would be more then furious. Not to mention the more days it sits the more money he owes you. So either way its a win for you and a loss for him.
