Any spider experts here? My girlfriend found this in our bathtub tonight… scooped him up and threw him outside (with a plastic tub of course), but I’m having trouble identifying him - I think it may be some type of wolf spider. Super gross. Anyone else have pics of creepy crawlies they’ve found in their house?

we killed one of those tonight then set it on fire when putting the door on bings car
It was on the ceiling and i couldnt get the penny close enough. I was scurred. I get these all the time, and i hate em so much. I let spiders walk around freely in hopes that they kill whatever these are.

I dont get too many of these things, this one was at my friends house. He hets alot more than i do. Carpeted basement.
And i have a gecko, but he doesnt have an appetite for these things.

as for the carpeted basements comment, i get those bugger centipedes all the time and we have ceramic tile in the basement.
I have centepedes like no tomorow in and around my coldceller in my bacement.

Yeah, a carpeted basement will attract more of these centipedes. Even with ceramic/wood floors you might get a few.
I used a wrench to hold the penny up. I’m scared of it jumping on me.
i’m pretty sure centipedes can’t jump. they crawl pretty fast, and climb up walls, but i’ve never seen one jump before.

Well my friend has had one charge at him, apparently it was like 8cm long and took THREE zaps with those electric flyswatters you can buy that hurt like a bitch.

Yeah I have seen a few of the second thing in my basement. Don’t like em, give me the willies. Plus I see at least one of these every morning scurrying around in my bathroom as soon as I turn the light on.
