changed my vlsd fluid today and found alot of metal stuck to the magnetic plug,found a small tightly wound spring in there as well
is my vlsd done for? should i get a new one right away or just keep driving?

Yeah, it sounds like something blew. I’m not exactly versed in the internals of VLSDs so I couldn’t tell you for sure. Try pulling out the carrier and taking a look.

Are you sure it’s a spring and not a tightly wound piece of aluminum because something pulled the threads out of something else?
