FRANKENSTORM 2012

lol what?

If you look at the radar, the storm is headed towards buffalo. It will stick around tomorrow and thats when it will get to us.

I’m in for a worse storm…I was pretty disappointed with last night’s results.

He’s actually right according to this:

Have you tried consulting any of the weather reports?

Or is this based on your ability to read weather radar?

All of the weather watches are being lifted today…

I know its not a hurricane anymore, but it still a slow moving storm with winds. I know the flooding is the big issue, but there will still be damaging winds

Everything that has been predicted for this storm has been spot on. Everyone in Buffalo just loves to bitch about how they were warned for a storm that was supposed to hit us. I love how people were hoping that they didn’t have class today. Be lucky you at least have a classroom to go to.

Everything they predicted has been correct.

The predicted storm path and the record setting storm surge…

Im just north of Boston the storm has definitley cleared but still no power in most areas up here.

Did Boston even get hit bad?

I left around 1pm and everything was closing at 2pm most news coverage has been on NJ/NYC.

A few months ago, some scientists in Italy got sentenced to jail time because they failed to predict an earthquake. Serious. Look it up.

I just heard/read about that the other day. Thats ridiculous.

I heard about this when I was in Montreal last week: http://www.globalmontreal.com/italian+court+convicts+7+for+no+quake+warning/6442738193/story.html

Rob ray? lol

Cant speak for Boston. Havent really seen any news coverage on it. I know they closed down most transportation and schools right in the city yesterday and today. Got real bad last night nothing too crazy though… alot fo trees and power lines down not so much flooding around me.

Gotta keep busy during the lockout somehow.

I do not envy the guys at Internap right now

Bridges to the island are open right now, and we currently have a fuel truck en route. We have approval from the building to manually carry fuel up in plastic water bottles, and we have a number of our team on-site to carry fuel up the stairs as needed. I do not know if the manual plan will be successful, but we will certainly try.

17th floor. After being up all night and probably most of yesterday.

Rob Ray will be cookin’ hot dogs in Springville soon enough.

^ Ugh… I wouldn’t want to walk up 17 stories, let alone carry fuel up.

Your better off with natural gas generators on this coast.
