Close Private Party Value

Kelley Blue Book Private Party Value is the amount a buyer can expect to pay when buying a used car from a private party. The Private Party Value assumes the vehicle is sold “As Is” and carries no warranty (other than any remaining factory warranty). The final sale price may vary depending on the vehicle’s actual condition and local market conditions. This value may also be used to derive Fair Market Value for insurance and vehicle donation purposes.

Like i said, it’s not my car. Trying to help a friend sell his. I’m not the 1 setting the price on it. I checked kbb & I’m well aware what it’s worth. Again, not my car. Just listing it for a friend.

meh

Ohhhh he did! ^

Dat shit supercharged???

no, I think only '04+ were supercharged

And no way in hell is this thing worth anywhere close to the asking price, especially not with that demolition derby front bumper.

I have a lot of money into this and your gonna worry about the small crack on the front bumper? No this is not supercharged and the price im asking is reasonable considering the amount of work i have put into this thing…go on craigslist and check what other people are asking for monte carlos just about around $6k.

Thats not a small crack. The whole bumper needs to be replaced and then painted. Easily a $500 repair.

Its 10 years old with a ton of miles on it.

Besides interior rice lights, a Walmart deck and a can of taillight paint what other money is in it besides repairs? It looks like a stock car so Im not seeing where all the money went.

look at my sig, from the words of b-ri…

it might be completely stock but all the money went towards mechanical work and top of the line parts and for 10 years old it looks good and runs perfect and that crack in the bumper is not worth $500 had a buddy appraise it for me and said about $150. Say all the negative things you want about it but i truly know its worth right around what im asking.

i appraise that crack for $1000.

I used to work in a bodyshop. No way would $150 fix that repair. Paint, clear and materials would cost almost that much and Im guessing somebody told you they could plastic weld it.
That almost never works on bumpers.

And repairs dont add to a car’s value. It needed repairs because its 10 years old with a ton of miles on it. And whether you bought the cheapest repair parts or the most expensive ones dont really matter much when selling a used car.
