FS 1983 BMW 528e

My name is Scott Saint-Amour.
Car is in fantastic shape. I’m in medical school in Buffalo NY and don’t have the time to maintain the car for my father.

Some car history: Car is a 5 speed manual transmission, power locks/windows, leather seating, and sunroof. 1 owner over 23 years, car was bought new, and has very very little rust, mostly not visible. The car has been driven by 2 people over 23 years (myself and my father). Transmission has been replaced 7 years ago, spark plugs and wires, all 4 tires, the fuel lines, and the air flow meter have been replaced less than year ago. The engine is otherwise original.

The car currently does not start, and presumably has an issue with it’s distributer. Other than that the car has been kept with care and is in suprisingly good shape. I am selling the car for $1000, negotiable, and really need to sell it quickly because of school/work.

You can contact me at 516-532-5970. I am in the Buffalo, NY area, Amherst to be specific. Please call with any questions if you are interested.

I have an 84’ 528e…

The car is in great shape, I’ll listen to any offer.

ill give you$1000 for it if you have it towed to a BMW facility to see that it is just the distributor(if that is in fact what it is)

hell i can have it towed there for free for you, if you dont have AAA

i was the one who diagnosed the dizzy issue. it could be a coil wire too. it gets SUPER weak spark at the plug, but pretty good spark at the coil. The coil>dizzy wire sparks great, but also sparks to ground midway through the wire.

It’s a pretty clean car. I didn’t nose around it too much though.
