Yeah i always have rust on my car when its “ready” for paint
i was looking at the car 10 minutes ago, i dont recall seeing any rust…
are you painting it white again? and i’m assuming the front lenses/ corners and grill are all going to come with the car? do you have the rest of the spoiler as well as the side skirts and the door molding for the car?

and i would assume he’s talking about the pinch weld, which looks like its bubbling up from the pictures.
oh, yeah on the pinch weld there is usually rust, but i was planning on grinding it down and undercoating it before it gets bad.
i have the 5 piece wing and even some extra parts for the wing, i have all the moldings and side panels, the car would be repainted white, the top is already been repainted black
oh and also the corners and front lenses are temporarily on the car because i was driving it, but their currently only zip tied in there because i was too lazy to bolt them in and have to take them out when i paint lol

if you fixed it up and posted pics of it looking good, you MIGHT be able to get 3k.
read the whole post. 3k is with the car painted and new tranny installed.
i dont care how much i get for it at this point. if i got 1000 for it i would be at almost a 4k loss

Sucks but sometimes it happens, I lost over 6K on my first project car that I sold…
Sold it for 50% of what I paid for it, cars are not investments, especially cars like this, they are hobbies.

u certainly need more than what u will get for this on a down payment for a vdub. ull be lucky to get 1k for this car, honestly. i think u would be better off to put a little time and money and run her right to the ground…set yourself a budget and put just what u need into and save yourself the money for something u really want.
