ok here’s pretty much all of the marks on the car, i’ll try to explain them so you can get a better idea of what it is
This is the back drivers side, dunno how this happened, prolly in a parking lot…who knows. its not very noticeable unless you look for it

this was from some bushes i had to squeeze by, i’m pretty sure most of it will buff out but i have not tried/nor have a buffer.
had a friend look at it tonight who used to detail and said most of it will come out.
really the only rust on the car, just surface rust right now…should probably be taken care of though, its right below the gas door(also can see the tail end of the bushes incident
this is the bottom half of the wing, stupid bike rack and gay ricer wings dont mix…
thats pretty much it except the usual rock chips and suck on the hood/corners of the front fenders from the oh-so-great subaru paint
this was just after a quick wash in the driveway…
as for an engine shot… stockstiengine.jpg i forgot to take one but it looks like it did from the factory with 65K 
here’s the blue carpet…yay…took the seats out today to clean it, most of the time its had floor mats in it, so not too much wear on the blue 
oh and the wires you see were from a system i had in it about 2 years ago, never took em out but they are unhooked up front…

man i sold my 04 sti 2 years ago for $17,000 w/ less miles, WAY less damage and a brand new engine.

idk your sti was about as beat cosmetically, and the cars hold their value well. 18k is not outrageous at all
so basically i could buy this for 14k… touch up the paint and buff it out and then resell it and make 3k?

Ehhh. Unless you can do the work yourself or have a relative who does body work cheap, it wouldn’t be worth it to do that. Just my opinion though
mine had no dings and only a little rash on the bumpers.
also this was 2 years ago! The car was only 2 years old, had 49K on the clock and a brand new engine.
i don’t know any of the details of your sale, just saying. 16K would be a great deal. 18K, especially on here in the land of cheap asses is a perfectly acceptable asking price lol

eh, the pics make the car look a lot worse than it is, i’ve been told that by a few people that have seen them
i took them nice and close up so you could actually see the extent of the damage, they are not as big as they look/and not as noticable
the car will also have a brand new windshield, got a crack from a rock falling from the sky on the highway
