FS 92 hatchback -rolling chassis -with all 5 speed components and a KADE for parts only ( missing cams starter ,alt etc. and has a spun bearing)
The good:
------good strut towers -upper frame rails and a decent body
------dark tinting all around 15%
------ABS module removed -non ABS huds installed and lines rerouted
------rear and marker lights tinted
------replace hatch is rust free (no wing)
------VLSD and HICAS sway bar – hicas lines removed
------front end 95% rust free including lower and upper rad supports
The reality:
------This car needs work- not a one weekend fixer upper
------needs an engine -tie rods and other parts
------comes with a box full of parts (fan, rad shroud etc)
------decent start for a track or project car
------needs work-read-needs work
------currently setup as a 2 seater due to Sparco bar/harness
This car is for sale with the Sparco seats (2) , rails, harness and bar for $1100. or $800. not including the Sparco parts.
I will be posting another FS thread with a number of aftermarket parts that will have a lower price if bought at the same time as the car.
The hatch is in good shape -no wing -no rust. Strut towers are in good shape -very little rust. the frame rails are decent --. The rear wheel wells need some work but there are no holes in the exterior of this car.
The only reason for posting that it needs work is to avoid an inexperienced person buying this on a Friday night thinking it will be finished by noon Sat. The car is in decent shape but needs an engine and other finishing work .ie (seats if buying it without -a redo of brakes /suspension /fuel system depending on your intended use.)
Hi John, just out of curiosity, what parts would the buyer have to purchase to get this thing running? Does it come with all of the brakes and shocks and stuff?
Would he just have to buy fluids and some hoses and stuff? Sounds like it’s just some assembly, drop an engine in and you’d be pretty close to road worthiness?
This car needs an engine --most of the engine bay stuff is there -just missing the AIV assembly that sits on the driver's side strut tower. The car has a complete brake and suspension OEM and well used will need to be looked at/replace some parts ie tie rods ,brake pads . This why the car is a good start as a project car if you are replacing all that stuff anyway or as a daily driver which will require some replacement stuff. The right person with an engine available and a good working knowledge of S13's could probably get this roadworthy in a weekend but as my previous posts if you do not have some experience and a good understanding of these cars this may be to much for you. ( I do not want to give the idea that anybody could have this car on the road in one weekend)
