FS: '97 BMW 328i vert. No clutch. $4700 firm

Just looked at my statement, only owe $4772. I’ll eat the $72 if someone takes it out of here

Triple black 1997 BMW 328i convertible 5 speed 144,000 miles
$4700 firm

The good:
*New top
*New metal water pump
*New OEM radiator(BEHR) and hoses
*New rear trailing arm bushings
*New e-brake hardware and pads
*New Bilstein springs, struts and shocks all around(only fronts installed)
*1 winter(this one)

The bad:
*Right quarter-panel damage
*Interior door panels falling off
*Drivers window works when it wants
Needs OBC
*Convertible-top front seal leaks sometimes
*Clutch 100% gone, must be towed

Included with this car:
*Set of 15" ‘bottle-cap’ wheels w/snows (installed)
*OEM exhaust (loud, obnoxious one installed)
*‘Projector’ style corner markers(smoked installed)
*Polk 10" sub and Kenwood 150w amp (installed)
*Alpine CD/mp3 disc head unit (installed)

*OBC: On Board Computer. Displays information about lights out, low fluid levels and such. This is NOT the ECU.

I can no longer maintain this car and it needs to go. I owe $5500 on the loan and thats what I will sell the car for. I can’t afford yet another paper-weight in my driveway, especially one I have a monthly bill for.

These are the only pictures I have, I’ll take more when the rain stops. Rear 1/4 damage happened after these pictures. Blacked-out corner markers are gone. Sub in picture has been replaced with a Polk sub.

If you need the clutch done get the parts my rates are very reasonable. LMK

very nice zeroassault should pick this up GLWS

pics of the quarter panel damage? interior pics? how many miles? what’s wrong with the clutch? disc, pp, master or slave cyl. ?

I can’t believe I forgot to post the mileage, now I have to go edit 3 other forums, 144k. It’s raining right now so I can’t take any pictures of the damage but I sideswiped a guard rail, it hit right where the door ends and went to the fender flare. I fell asleep at the wheel a few weeks ago.

The clutch started slipping a few days ago and today it finally quit on my way home from work. I barely made it home.

why not replace clutch then sell?

Otherwise, nice looking car…

I’ve already had an offer run by me to do it but currently I don’t have the money nor do I care to spend it on a car I don’t want anymore. I’ve been regretting purchasing this car for quite some time now and any single penny I spend on it makes me think about what I could have done to my Corolla.

edit speaking of which, time to change this sig pic…
