Free installation of gauge provided by me (only on weekends) :naughty:
PRICE: $50CAD (firm - no more no less)
You can purchase an Autometer fitting (Part #2269) that will let you tap
directly into the stock oil pressure switch location. You can buy this
part from most specialty auto shops for ~$20CAD
Or you can go to http://www.adaptall.com and buy the 3 pieces mentioned
in my article above. These three pieces cost less then $15CAD and will
let you run your stock oil pressure switch as well.
AdaptAll is located: 1 Daybar Avenue, Rexdale, Ontario, Canada M9W 3N8
SPECIAL I will also install the gauge for you provided you come with the
adapters/fittings (mentioned above) in hand. Removal of the stock oil
pressure switch requires a 27mm deep socket which I have.
The fittings you will need to run a tee with stock oil pressure switch.
The install takes no time. I don’t mind getting dirty. :naughty:
Just that not everyone has a 27mm boxed end wrench or deep socket (I
ended up buying one just for this) so I figure might as well install it on
your car while you are here.
I strongly suggest anyone buhing this to get the fittings from AdaptAll.
Not only is it cheaper then the Autometer adapter but it will let you run
the stock oil pressure indicator on your gauge cluster.
I drilled a hole to run my battery cable but I originally had it going
through the rubber vent grommet (for A/C - I had no A/C).
