Hey guys, I’m looking to sell my 95 240 LE model. Its black on black, auto with 216,000kms. The interior is in great condition (no rips/cracks in the leather). New rear pads and rotors. Body has no rust except for some bubbling which is starting in the wheel wells and there are a few scuffs and scratches on the body. Mechanically, the car drives smooth, tranny shifts nicely but she does burn some oil. Trying to be honest here, I don’t want the buyer to get any surprises. Located in Mississauga. Asking $5200.

TO BUYER:
I was supposed to buy this car late December 2006-early January 2007. We made a deal; money & insurance was set up properly and ready to go. All I needed was a call for confirmation.
Result: I did not receive any call from him. It turns out that later on when I got a hold of him (1 week later), that he was no longer interested in selling the vehicle. Thus, he left me hanging and did not follow through with the deal made.
For any interested buyers, this car has been in a front end accident. The motor has a leaking oil issue, and there seems to be a problem with his timing chain (makes noise when driving normally). Also there is a minor dent in the rear drivers side corner of the quarter panel.

WOW, can’t believe u got the nerve to throw that shit up man, thats F*cking cold. The only part that i can agree with you on is the part where i backed off to sell the car. And the only reason why i did was because someone ended up selling an S10 (which i stated above in my initial post that i was interested in). I was in school and didnt want to pull my altima out for winter use. Your not the only one i turned down. Now the weather is getting better and i feel that i can bring the altima out, so I’ve contacted those who were interested in it before.

U made an offer and i said no. Then u made another crazy offer. Saying that the motor is on its way out because of the noise it made ( based on your friend’s past mishap but where’s the sound now??? hmmmm maybe i took care of it) and that i should make a price that would compensate for a new motor. U brought ur buddy’s with u and thought u can lowball me. Ur mechanic buddy said that i should let it go for 3500 because thats what the “book” says. I think the damn dealer could have done better.

Accident?? okay, i bought the car and got the Vehicle Info Package (nothing stated) , and according to the previous seller, it had not been in any and i could not find signs that it was in any accident. Ur mechaninc buddy once again pointed it out because the bumper looked cleaner then the rest of the car. U drove the car for 20mins, no clunks, or complaints. interesting.
Oil leaking issue? wtf are u talking about, i did mention it burned oil. Where is this oil leak that u speak of? I’ve had the car serviced, and no reports of oil leaks.
Some timing chain issue? Did I not tell you the car started to make that noise u heard just recently. Did i not point it out before you even put the key in the iginition? You make seem as if im hiding something.
I contacted Varun about this, and asked what it could be. Since im pretty new to the 240 scene I was unaware that the timing chain guide was a common issue on the KA motors and known to break. That shit was taken out the next day.
Nice, i didn’t hear anything positive from you in ur post. Guess my ride is shit. Because u did end up telling me u found a better one and 5spd. But it’s pretty much expected from someone who can’t live without a deal.

I was set on buying your car, but I just happened to find a better deal. Isn’t that what we’re all waiting for? Then again, no one wants to spend X amount of money on something that will just die soon. But, I guess thats up to the buyer. Anyway, back on topic.
