For sale/trade is my 180sx.
Very interested in trades considering if this sells im just buying another s chassis anyway. Looking for another s13, or maybe s14 but only kouki or s14.5, would also trade for stock/stockish silvia/180, or clean coupes or hatches. Will not add cash on my end, I am quite poor lol, would rather get myself into a 3 - 5k car and have cash added on your end. Would also prefer something SR powered, but only at the right price. Will NOT trade for a rolling chassis or anything that needs engine work.
The basics:
1990 180sx, silver, 5 speed, 49 000 km on chassis, 5 000 kms on entire engine.
The Good:
- ca18det was fully rebuilt about 5 000 kms ago. Bottom end and head fully replaced and machined (pistons rods bearings valves springs seals Headgasket etc), clutch is fairly new aswell, cant remember kms.
- pretty much rustless. tiny bit of rush under the rear spoiler, frame floor and rockers are in fantastic shape
- rubber is good all around, will have to check the tires for brand/model again
- compression is 150 all accross
- canadian re-VIN - breeze to insure
- probably about 210whp right now, and 300whp ready
Engine mods:
greddy type rs BOV,
24x12x3 fmic,
gtr injectors,
SR t25 turbo (bigger than stock t25 turbo),
hks evc 5 boost controller (has power but is not hooked up, engine never boosted over 8psi).
Turbo xs exhuast mani (not installed)
Other mods:
KEI office coils up front,
Modex jdm tyte wheels 16x7 and 16x8,
greddy boost gauge and pod,
3" exhuast (Trust downpipe and bings catback),
screamer pipe/open o2 housing.

The Bad:
-Will run for 2-5 minutes and then die. Cannot figure out whats wrong with it. Tried a couple basic things like the fuel filter but with no luck. Engine is FINE tho with 150 compression all around, so its not a serious problem. Unfortunately all the shops around whitby dont want to work on an import, so my resources are limited.
- Couple minor scratches/blemishes on the body, but good condition overall, looks very clean
- head lights are stuck up, it is not the motors, it is the wiring. It happened when the turbo timer was installed and never went back down. Easy fix would be to take the timer out and sell it, you dont need it anyway lol.

I have no idea why but I have no recent shots under the hood…here is a pic from when I bought the car, not much has changed except the valve cover is now gold and air filter is different

Reason for sale:
have owned this car for a year and a half now. Bought it in the fall, then garaged it, in the spring it was stolen and the head gasket blew, took me a while to do it myself, then my clutch went 2 weeks after the HG was fixed, so i decided to replace the entire engine with a fully rebuilt one thats in there now. Was garaged for the winter again. Now I’m looking for something stock ish.
Will not part out. Reason being I can’t really get rid of anything thats not a necessity on the car, I dont have a whole lot of extra parts lying around.
Selling as is. I have no insurance on it right now so I cant get anything done. Am confident it will pass inspecitons tho. Cheers.
